Journey to the world of the dead starts right now! It happened in Mexico in the course of the day of the useless - Dia de los Muertos. Hippo visited the rancho of her grandma, where the preparation for the celebration was in its full swing. During this day, Mexico is stuffed with shiny colors, sugar skulls, music, alive skeletons and all the potential monsters.
But all these monsters usually are not frightening at all, they all are local residents. Dia de los Muertos is very completely different from the famous Halloween. You don't need to frighten strangers, acquire sweets and inform scary tales. All these are the classical entertainment throughout Halloween. The day of the lifeless is dedicated to the memory of the useless. Everybody believes, that during this present day all of the lifeless relatives and ancestors could visit their homes. Holiday culture comes from the ancient traditions of Maya and Aztecs. During this holiday, you presumably can observe different rituals in each home. There is an altar, known as ofrend in each home. Hippo's relations put their ofrend around big useless tree at the backyard. But this time, vacation ceremony has been broken. Accidentally kids have fallen into the tree gap and happend to be on the earth of the dead! From that very moment, mysterious and exciting adventures start.
