Summary of Abhidhamma:

A medieval Buddhist manual, "Summary of Abhidhamma", has now become one of the most important and influential textbooks of Theravada Buddhism. The nine chapters, which are only fifty pages thick, provide a basic summary of the most esoteric "Abhidhamma" in Buddhism. It is also the standard introductory book for all theravada Buddhist countries in South and Southeast Asia to learn Abhidhamma.

After the death of the Buddha, the three regions where Buddhism spread the most in history were Southern Buddhism that spread to South Asia and Southeast Asia; Northern Buddhism that spread to China and Japan; and Tubo and Tubo. Tibetan Buddhism in the Tibetan Plateau. Among them, Northern Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism have undergone major changes in order to adapt to the local culture and the roots of sentient beings, and have a completely different appearance from primitive Buddhism. Xunfa Bhikkhu then translated this book into a Chinese version for the readers in the Chinese-speaking area.
