Connect to a high accuracy GPS or GNSS receiver, stream DGPS or RTK correction knowledge to the receiver by way of NTRIP over the telephone's Internet connection. Log NMEA position knowledge from that receiver to a file on the SD card. Make NMEA position information from an external receiver out there to other Android applications.
Note that this utility requires the Bluetooth Serial Port Profile to connect with a GPS receiver. Bluetooth SPP just isn't included in all Android gadgets.
Permissions Needed:
INTERNET - Used for getting correction knowledge from the Internet.
BLUETOOTH - Used for connecting to a Bluetooth gadget.
BLUETOOTH_ADMIN - Used for pairing with a Bluetooth gadget.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - Used for writing NMEA knowledge to a text file on the SD card.
